Roomersive for Airbnb hosts
Restyle an Airbnb listing photo, then send a 360° walkthrough so guests can look around before they book — without staging furniture you do not own.
Guests book from photos and cancel from surprise. An empty spare room, a dated inherited sofa, or a house that is still your actual home all photograph as "not the listing." Physical staging for short-term is rarely rational: you need the furniture to exist for the stay. Roomersive is the version of virtual staging that also lets a guest look around in the proposed room before they hit reserve.
What hosts actually do with it
- Restyle the hero rooms — living room, primary bedroom, kitchen — into a style that matches how people search the city (Coastal in Miami, Mid-century in a bungalow, Contemporary in a downtown condo). Layout stays; the inherited clutter does not have to.
- Send a 360° walkthrough with the listing or a pre-booking message. Guests who would have asked "is the living room as small as it looks" can check. They still need honest photos of the current condition if the restyle is a proposal, not the room they will sleep in.
- Do not pass a restyle off as the unit. Platforms and local rules are not gentler than MLSs just because the stay is three nights. If the image is digitally altered, say so, and keep the real photos in the gallery.
When a restyle is the wrong artifact
If the unit is already furnished as it will be rented, shoot that. A restyle that is nicer than the stay is how you earn a one-star essay. Roomersive is for empty second bedrooms, pre-furnish renovations, and "we are deciding a furniture pack" — not for replacing truth on a live calendar.
Why a still is not enough here
Short-term guests are even less willing than homebuyers to imagine a wide-angle still into a volume. A look-around of the restyle (or of a real furnished photo, if you generate a tour from an as-is shot) answers "can we work from the table" without a FaceTime tour at 11 p.m.
What it will not do
- Connected tours from living room into the hallway as one world
- Replace platform-required as-is photos
- Furnish the physical unit
Each walkthrough is one room from one photo. Use it on the three frames that decide the swipe. For the occupant-side version of the same restyle, see Roomersive for homeowners. For listing-compliance language, see digitally altered images.
