RoomGPT vs Roomersive
RoomGPT restyles a room photo into a still in the browser. Roomersive restyles the photo and builds a 360° walkthrough. Compare speed, output, and limits.
RoomGPT made "upload a room, get a new style" feel like a toy you could try without a sales call. That is a real product win. Roomersive starts at the same upload and does not stop at the JPEG. If you liked RoomGPT and then asked "can I look around in that," this is the comparison.

What RoomGPT is good at
It is fast, it is obvious, and it answers "what if this bedroom were another style" with a still. For a renter who wants a joke, a mood, or a single screenshot to text a roommate, that can be the whole job. Credit packs after the free nibble are a familiar pattern in this category.
What it does not do is give anyone a spatial read. The still is a composed view. Doorways, window depth, and "can we fit a desk on that wall" stay imaginary.
What Roomersive adds
The restyle keeps layout, walls, and windows. Then a walkthrough is generated from that restyle so a person can look around or walk the room with WASD. Named styles exist because listing agents and homeowners search "[style] [room] ideas" — see the styles hub — not only a free-text prompt.
For agents, the still also has to survive an MLS. Digitally altered images need a conspicuous notice and a path to the original. That is a Studio problem, not a fun-prompt problem.
When to choose RoomGPT
- You want a one-off still and you do not care about a link someone else can tour
- Prompt-play matters more than a named style system
- You are not putting the image on a listing
When to choose Roomersive
- You need to stand in the restyle, not only screenshot it
- You are furnishing a decision (paint, a move, a listing) rather than a meme
- You need the listing-side kit: disclosure, white-label, a URL that is the product
